Detecting a theme here recently: St. Macarius…D.B. Hart….and St. Gregory Palamas no less, hymned as “light of Orthodoxy, teacher of the Church…ideal of monks and invincible champion of theologians.” Sounds like someone’s planning a trip across the Bosphoros….
