What’s all the fuss about?
March 20th, 2010 Posted in TheologyEaster. You know, when a holy bunny was reborn from a chocolate egg so that we all might have everlasting gobstoppers. Or something like that.

Thanks, Tony. I read this to the family over lunch today. Father Paul’s homily today was on the 18th rung of The Ladder of St. John Climacus– spiritual insensitivity and its devastating effects. Your article jived quite well.

Having spent my childhood in a very weird, not exactly Christian church, I can believe this. When I went off to an Episcopal college, I had no idea why people considered it such a big deal. Really. No idea that anyone did anything other than bunnies and eggs (which growing up we were not permitted either). And I even grew up going to a nominal church.
I’ve come a long way since then.
