Word of the Day
career: to go at top speed especially in a headlong (i.e., reckless) manner.
Sometimes a word is more apt than we realize, don't you think?

I think you just nailed the entire day in one definition. When I grow up, I'm gonna find a career that will let me go slowly. If I ever grow up.

An example of what I like to call a "reverse gerund", i.e., when a noun doubles as a verb. Funny thing, I saw this word on my screen today and was too busy to notice the wordplay.......Just another reason Tony is underpaid but not underappreciated for his efforts. PDS

Oh noooooo...!! Are you a WotD person?! My brother and I are subscribed to two, and since we talk nearly every morning on IM, it's gotten to be a contest which one of us can use the words in sentences first. It's actually pretty fun, except when he wins.
