1. Tom

My four-year old, James, was putting his shoes on one Saturday morning and he started to talk about a problem he was having. When I listened closely it appeared to be that he was “getting” so much love from everyone (Mommy, Daddy, brother, Grandparents… you get the picture) that he didn’t know what to do with it all.

Would that we all had such problems.

Or, would that we realized the love that was there which we frequently miss.

How true! Our 4 year-old commented on a similar problem with his “handsomeness”: “I’m the most handsomenest boy in the world, aren’t I mom? (I agreed that I thought so.) “I have to be. Everyone is always looking at me and telling me I am.” (I agree that it must be true then.)
